I made Kane's hat last year with fleece lining and I made mine this past weekend in the park.

I love your hat! What yarn is it?
My hat is Jade Saphire 100% cashmere. I got it as a going away gift from the local yarn store I used to shop at. It was a really small hank so I bought another hank just in case, and I'm glad I did. I used maybe 10% of the second hank, so now I have to come up with a project for the rest. Maybe a baby hat and booties.
